H2H Program: Training/Operations Manuals

The Georgia Hallways to Health program has developed two manuals (or guides) for other SBHCs in GA to learn more about the H2H program.  The purpose of these manuals is to help other SBHCs replicate many of the concepts of H2H by providing information about the tools, documents, processes used to implement (in part or in whole) related to the aims of H2H to address (1) healthy eating and active living, (2) social and emotional wellness, and (3) school employee wellness.

It is the goal of the GASBHA to take the H2H work to scale and for other SBHCs across the state to begin implementing some of the H2H activities in their respective schools to effectively address student and staff health needs.  The overarching goal of H2H is to go beyond the clinic walls and into the school halls to work collectively with the school to address the health needs of students and staff, to improve health and academic outcomes for students and improve the health staff through health education programs, behavioral health services, and clinical services.
