Lynette Wilson-Phillips is originally from Charleston, South Carolina and is a graduate of Wofford College class of 1986. She is currently the President and Founder of Decatur Pediatric Group, PA founded in 1996; which is comprised of 3 private office locations throughout Metro Atlanta. Dr. Wilson-Phillips earned her Medical Degree at the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Charleston and she completed her residency at the Emory University School of Medicine in 1994. In 2016, Dr. Wilson-Phillips founded and became a Co-Medical Director for her not-for-profit organization, Kids’-Doc-On-Wheels (KDOW), a school-based telemedicine and medical mobile unit program. KDOW allows Dr. Wilson-Phillips to put wheels on wellness and deliver high quality and accessible pediatric care to the community. In October of 2019, KDOW received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Wilson-Phillips is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of many professional and community organizations. She formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics as a District Representative. She, along with her practice, has participated with multiple Community Clinical research studies investigating topics of Asthma and Obesity. Moreover, Dr. Wilson-Phillips serves as an Adjunct Professor for both Emory School of Medicine and Morehouse School of Medicine. She participates on the selection committee for both the Pediatric Residency and School of Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine.
