“GASBHA advances the health and success of Georgia’s children through community partnerships to develop and support School-Based Health Centers.”
About Us
The Georgia School-Based Health Alliance, Inc. (GASBHA) was formed in November 2012 to advocate for the expansion of school-based health centers in Georgia. The Alliance provides technical assistance, training, planning grants, and startup funds for the development and implementation of SBHCs throughout the state. GASBHA is officially recognized as an affiliate of the national Based Health Alliance (SBHA). SBHA is “the National Voice for School-Based Health Care”. The SBHA sets national policy and legislative agenda, advocates for greater support and funding, promote high-quality clinical standards, supports data collection, reporting, evaluation, and research, and provides training technical assistance, and consultation.
