Dr. Keisha Reneé Callins is a physician and public health professional. She is an Georgia-trained, obstetrician/gynecologist with Community Health Care Systems, Inc. (CHCS) and is committed to providing women's healthcare services in rural and underserved areas. Dr.Callins also serves as Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Callins is the immediate past chair of the National Advisory Council for the National Health Service Corps and a former NHSC scholar. She is the 2023 Inaugural Sandra Dunagan Deal Rural Service Fellow Award, and is actively involved in pipeline mentorship, translational research, legislative advocacy, and community engagement. Her personal mission statement is, “You may not be able to change the world, but you can change the world of everyone with whom you interact”.
